Description: | Another gamepad controller mapper. I made this because I was excited by the idea of controlling sounds with my gamepad, but none of the available m4l devices worked correctly with my third-party Xbox controller. And so I started by modifying one of those devices, got a bit carried away and built a whole new UI for it, amongst other changes. I am planning to add midi notes triggering in future updates, whenever that may be. This devices was built upon Freebox Gamepad Control 1.0 by veedjee http://www.maxforlive.com/library/device/2662/freebox-gamepad-control The image of an Xbox controller by Juraj Sedlák https://thenounproject.com/yumminky/collection/xbox-one-console-outline/?i=1067328 P.S. It's a mess inside and I'm not even ashamed. |

Can this work with other controllers? ie PS3, PS4 |

@audiojet I wish I could test it. In theory, it should, but it would require manual adjustments for (probably) different messages coming from the controllers. |

Thank you so much for this one, it's so useful. It would be nice to have an option to use sticks as an acceleration control for faders' position, so that faders could stay at their place when you leave sticks at center position. |
@Oikio Thank you! That's a great idea, I'll definitely think about it! |

With my old PureData based xbox>midi, I had a need for the analog sticks to be assignable to multiple paramaters per axis. I've modified your device to allow for three assignments per axis :] thanks! |
@protman Nice! I'm glad it's of use to you |

Thank you so much for making this awesome tool! I have 2 requests. 1.When I pull L2&R2 triggers at the same time, one side of trigger is always killed. I want there is no interference. 2.I want to choose Button or Temporally at vL and vR. Could you fix them? |
