Device Overview

Name/Version: monoMED 1.08
Author: encoderaudio
Description: I, like many others, started making music with trackers. I used Impulse Tracker, back in '97-'98.
For me, monoMED is a time-machine. It travels me back in time, when 2-5MB of samples were enough to finish a bunch of great songs as a nerdy kid in my bedroom on my 386 IBM PC.
For you it might be something else.
But, it is a tracker style, 16 step MIDI sequencer, with Note, Velocity, Note length, Delay / note and 2 assignable controls.
You can change the pattern length and direction, also, you can save and recall patterns.

1.o1 - device now passes through MIDI messages, thanks to a kind user who pointed out the missing objects!
1.o2 - user request implemented : longer notes!
1.o3 - fully new clock generator, more stable and reliable
1.o4 - fixed a few bugs, bad button layout, etc., thanks to Kris for the info!
1.o5 - preset save and load implemented
1.o6 - Ableton banks support added for Push, improved clock, now 100% message/bang based, no more signal conversion, note lengths are now in time intervals, step delays are in ticks now
1.o7 - save/load bug-fix
1.o8 - minor UI fix

Hi, the video only shows workflow w/ mouse, how is the workflow with only the keyboard? I want to type fast the values just like in a tracker, not drag stuff w/ a mouse.

You can, just click on the step and you can type in the value.
Unfortunately, it is not possible like in the good old days, purely with a keyboard :(
I've tried to implement that...

I'm interested in purchasing this device. Does it happen to be tightly integrate with Push by any chance? I'd love to have a tracker-like app and be able to control it with Push...I also hate the mouse for making music. :D

Is this device available anymore? It's not available on the link.
