Description: | Here's a original idea idea by tomluft that I just wanted to modify so as to be able to get the same results but tied to song tempo. I just introduced a choice between a "manual" and a "quantize" way of doing the thing . Enjoy |

Hi, I understand your point of view. Mine was to go on a more "live" way: I wanted to restart recording without stopping other clips in the session, in case your in sync with other devices or friends ! I'm working on a new version that gives up the Java thing now that max6 gave us a "delete clip" option. I think it will be track based to allow multiple devices on different tracks. Cheers |
Max 6 gave us a delete clip option? That's great! Looking forward to your version. |

My idea behind the stop was that you e.g. have a 8 chord-pattern. You record a melody above it. When you hit the button with "quantize" on, you will restart recording the melody maybe at the 5th chord.
With "quantize" off you will start right at the beginning, so the 1st chord.
You might consider turning this into an audio-device (like I did ;) ) so one can put this on the master track.
