Device Overview

Name/Version: cc2param 1.0
Author: DavidParker
Description: Converts MIDI cc messages to a device parameter of your choice. Converts cc range (0 - 127) to parameter range automatically. Instructions: type in the cc number, refresh the device list, choose device and parameter.

I made this for my own use because I couldn't find anything else that did exactly what I wanted. Its purpose is to allow cc messages that are generated from within Live (from MIDI files, automation or generator devices) to control device parameters. It is very basic and doesn't follow ay of the Max for Live production guidelines, but hopefully it will be useful to others.

it means i can select any device in my project by using any knob or slider? am i right. I need select, for example, operator and modify some parameters, then go to reverb in other track and do the same, can i do this with this path?

Im sorry aguirretron but I dont understand your question. The device receives MIDI cc messages and uses them to change device parameters. You could use this to connect an external controller to Operator etc, but you could also do that with MIDI mapping. Cc2param is designed to work around a limitation of Live in using internally generated MIDI messages (probably fixed in Live9).
