| Description: | DJster Autobus is based on Clarence Barlow's legacy real-time pitch and rhythm generator, originally running on the Atari ST computer. The device has 12 parameters which control various musical textures that encompass a wide range from tonal to atonal, and from rhythmic to arhythmic structures, with strong allusions to historical and ethnic styles. The device reads text files containing the definitions of scales and meters and also opens .scl files from the scala library with well over 4000 different scales. The device improvises according to probability distributions - based on theoretical research conducted by Barlow in the 1970's - and uses a sound font player and/or a sampler for microtonal playback. | So far I love this plugin, except that it does nothing when I try to load a scale file (.scl) from the scala library using the Scale:Open... button. Whatever I do it always shows "basic.cents.txt" next to the button. Am I doing something wrong? |

| soundsketcher, maybe the scala files should be into: ../Library/Application Support/Ableton/Library/Presets/ Or in any other folder that appears into the Live browser. |
| Hi I have installed DJster Sutobus 1.3 in my iMac Applications/Max6 and in User/Library/Application Support/Ableton/Library/Presets/MIdi Effects/Max Midi Effect/DJster are inside DJster Autobus.amxd and DJster Lemur Control.amxd I insert DJster Autobus.amxd into Ableton Midi track and it appears in the lower field in white where is C#-2 to 1 and when i press the open Meter button nothing change and when i press scale open also nothing change,any window appear What am i doing wrong? Thanks Regards |
