Device Overview

Name/Version: RetroSampler 2.2
Author: TRNR
Description: RetroSampler is a lo-fi sample player inspired by hardware samplers of the 90s. It features adjustable sample and bit rate, clock jitter control, low pass filter with drive control and integrated ADSR envelope. Lowering the sample rate will introduce a sought-after "ringing" effect that is not just a simple decimation effect: the resampling algorithm accurately follows the transposed pitch without interpolation.

Runs on 64bit Windows and Mac (Intel+Apple Silicon) systems.

I really love this device, there's nothing like it and I like its sound better than any commercial alternatives. With more functions like Ableton's Simpler it would be my absolute go-to sampler.

Thanks for your feedback! I'm actually developing a successor as a VST plugin which is even more refined in terms of the resampling engine. But it's obviously incredibly time-consuming to write in C++.
I'm gonna announce a Discord server soon where I'll be giving out Beta versions (I assume you're in my mailing list, otherwise just drop me a message on my homepage: www.ternar.tech).
