Device Overview

Name/Version: Cheat Code 1.5
Author: ManifestAudioGbR
Description: Cheat Code transforms stale or sloppy MIDI input into new musical ideas with a simple FREE effect: level up!

Designed by Ableton Certified Trainer Noah Pred, Cheat Code combines multiple forms of real-time quantization to transform any MIDI input, no matter how poorly played, into convincingly musical output.

With a variety of metrical quantization rates along with triplet options, adjustable swing, performative hold and transposition, and 50 selectable scales in any key, Cheat Code easily elevates nearly any performance.

No replacement for the skills of a real musician, Cheat Code can at least remove the worst mistakes from a poor performance - in real-time. So while it’s clearly no substitute for 10,000 hours of practice, it might fool a casual listener into thinking you’ve put in 100.

Optimized for Push with full Info View annotations, it’s easy to learn and use: just place it prior to an instrument on a MIDI track and start playing via any connected MIDI controller – or, experiment with manipulating input from triggered MIDI clips.

Great device! Thanks for sharing!

Great device, but it seems like when transportation has started, it doesnt apply the current settings.

For example, having quantisation set to pass, the device will still quantise when stopping and starting until you enable and re-disable quantisation via the button
