Description:	This is an update to Rampon’n’off, a device that imposes complex, user-designed amplitude envelopes on any incoming audio. It was designed as part of ongoing, university laboratory research projects, and then further developed to expand functions of interest to both researchers and musicians. As before, patterns can be plotted with either complete precision or point-and-click ease, and saved patterns can be looped to produce self-designed amplitude modulation. Also, playback speed can still be synced to Live’s tempo and adjusted up to 10 times faster/slower without impacting stored values. The included pattern sequencer has been expanded to 16 steps, and it now indicates the current pattern in the sequence. A hold option also has been provided by toggling out of sequence mode during note playback. Additionally, intermediate slopes are now possible for log and exponential curves, and MIDI parameter assignments have been updated and optimized for Live 10. The laboratory will continue to provide technical support for the life of the product, and proposed modifications will be considered.
