Hey I downloaded this and when i tried to start it up it crashed all of ableton for me. This was after 2 seconds. Im running 32 bit 9.0.1. i appreciate any help
This is pretty cool! Seems I have to press the button every time though to get a reaction, creating new clips and changing track colors I see nothing happening to clips that should change color automatically.
Great idea!

Unfortunately this only works with clips in the session view, not in the arrangement view!

Another feature I'm missing: If you create new midi tracks (shift+cmd+m) in arrangement view or if you drag audio clips to an audio track in arrangement view it should color them, too (automatically).

Another cool feature I would like to see in this device would be a auto-rename button for all clips on one track.

If you are like me and sometimes forget to name all tracks before recording or editing, it can be very exhausting to rename alle clips when "cleaning up" a session ;-)

If you can make this work as mentioned I would pay for this device because it would be a huge workflow plus for me :-)

Cheers,

Jan
I completely agree with Jan for the need of all this features!
@mauronedj & @jamari - you guys should check out Alias Clips by JGJP: http://www.maxforlive.com/library/device/2748/alias-clips

He actually commented above you guys. Surprised he didn't chime in. Although, I think he may have solved his own problem by building a device himself. :D
@broah thanks for the hint but it does not do what we need (I think)
.
We need only a simple color replacement for the all the arrangment clips of a particular track, according to the trackcolor (what your device do in the session but for the arrangement view)

The JGJP is a geniously programmed devices but it does not fit our need (altrought it's really useful, and I'll check it out for sure).
