Overview

Name | Version: APC Device Navigation 2.0
Author: pechmann
Device Type: Audio Effect
Description: Lets you navigate devices and parameter banks using the APC40's (Mk1 and Mk2) mute and solo buttons. Automatically control eight devices per track or use markers to expose them to the APC individually.

This device needs some slight modifications to the original controller scripts. These modified scripts can be found here (original functionality isn't changed): https://github.com/martinpechmann/APC40-grab-release (Mk1), https://github.com/martinpechmann/APC40-MkII-mod-for-device-navigation (Mk2).

I use this device with a modification of the APC40 script that incorporates the Push drum sequencer: http://martinpechmann.github.io/APC400000/

Quite a bit of time has gone into creating this device, so if you find it really useful, I would be glad if you would consider a donation via https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=XNDYJ5LA2PAHY .

Note that there is currently a problem when using Max 7. Deleting the device using the 'Delete Safely' button and then adding the device again will crash Live.

Hi!

This looks really interesting, but I can't get Live to find the custom controller script. I couldn't find the directory mentioned in the readme, but I put it into Live bundle/Contents/App-Resources/MIDI Remote Scripts since that's where all the other scripts seem to be at least in Live 10. But When I restart Live, the custom script is just not on the list. Any ideas?
Hi,

So I tried this out in Live 9, and it's working excellently. Super useful! But I would be eternally grateful if you could update the remote script (and device??) to work with Ableton 10!
Actually, no worries! I tried your other version of this, the AS40 device, and it's working in Live 10 just fine :)
