Device Overview

Name/Version: L.Sh 1.1
Author: Lokua
Description: A shaker drum-synth. Can produce quite a lot of complex variation with very little effort on the user's part. Everything should be self explanatory, email me if not.

audio example of 8th-note pattern with the device's default settings (over a bass drum w/ reverb - both of which you can find here at maxforlive.com):

Have tried it quickly yesterday and it didn't work. Didn't have time to open it to see it there was something obvious. This is with mbp 15 non retina dec'12 2.3 ghz osx 10.8.3 Live 9.04 max 6.1.2

Not wokring here either - it doesn't make any sound at all. I had a quick look a the patch but can't spot anything obvious, but I'm not very experienced with Max.

MBP i7, running 10.8.3, Live 9.04, Max 6.1.0 (although I'm about to update to 6.1.2 right now - I didn't realise I hadn't!).

Forgot to add - I'm running the 64 bit version of Live and M4L.

Mine is on 32 bits version.

Not working, will take a look what is the problem...

There is an "IN" object in the LR patch inside the deivce.
Remove it, connect and it will work.
Nice stuff anyway!

Thanks snaper. I realize I forgot to freeze the device to include the ln abstraction (it's just a line~ ramp to smooth the gain). Should work fine now. Sorry everybody!

working now :)

Hi mate, really love it! Am I allowed to synthesise the shakers from scratch using your device and then include the synthesised samples into a samplepack that would be for sale on online stores? Would appreciate your advice!
