Because the sequencer is constantly generating new PATTERNS 🔁, the musical outcome depends on your combination choices, the selected scale, and your chord progression. All of this is supported by a rich set of harmonization and music-theory-driven options — no formal musical training required ✅.

You can physically interact with two expressive human controls 🎛️: LOCK 🔒 and ERASER 🧹.
These controls are performed via your computer keyboard in rhythm, almost like percussion. Instead of triggering notes, you rhythmically introduce silence (RESTS) 🤫 or capture a sequence into a fixed loop.

This allows you to momentarily interrupt the generative nature of the system with your VIBE ✨ — locking a sequence when it feels right, and shaping it into a more minimal form with rhythmic ERASER taps.

@aoxomoxoa23, I’m working on it. You’ll be able to automate ALL the parameters in the upcoming 1.3 version, coming tonight or tomorrow. The engine overhaul has been very time-consuming, but absolutely worth it!

The next update will bring back the OFFSET SEQUENCE slider and introduce a NEW, intriguing algorithm for you to explore.

P.S. TECHNOPOLIS is coming to the Atari ST — unleash old-school hardware sequencing without the need to buy new gear. Our algorithm will run on 40-year-old machines (exactly my age!) using their built-in MIDI ports.
