It has a gentle EQ curve modeled on an ole’ record compressor. sounds like you like it. “press” is your one knob dynamic control tweak. It affects the ratio, envelope, and threshold…. all that shit. “lo, mid and hi” control the 3 band EQs before and after press, for maximum freshness. “makeup” is a damn clean boost after the dynamics party. this all runs into an analog style, passive gain, bob. grump m4l plugins are made for fast and creative audio mixing. no values are displayed or exact numbers used, so you rely on your hearing holes.
