| Description: | Hello, wanted to introduce me to MAX and MAX for LIVE, I made this editor for my KORG EX-8000. I'm not an expert, maybe some functions using many objects could have been reduced to a simple formula, but it works very well. I use this editor a few months and I am satisfied. I think for some time that it is a pity that he does not benefit those who still love the charm of this synth that, although it isn't a hero of the synthesis, it has a very interesting color. Maybe even someone will improve it, I have no more time. Ableton Live, to date, does not handle Sysex messages, i thank, without knowing him, Neil Bufkin (http://www.neilbufkin.com/) whose "JunoControl" gave me the key to work around this limitation. With EX-8000 M4L you can access all the sound programming parameters, automate and control them from Ableton Push (which displays all parameters) or from any other MIDI controller. The editor is in the form of a MIDI device for insertion into a instrument track, the audio is being returned by External Audio Effect Device (Instrument Rack preset is supplied). A "Legacy" sound bank is included and you can save your creations. The sound backup management could be improved and I would have liked to have a pseudo sync delay to the tempo of Live project but I don't have more time to devote to this project, my wife would bear me a grudge!
