Device Type: | MIDI Effect |
Description: | Spektro QuickProg allows you to quickly send pre-determined program changes to your synthesizer. It is the first of a series of devices that I'm working on that are focuses on easy and fun ways to access different patches in your synthesizers. QuickProg has 4 patches and in each one of them you can assign a Program Change #, a CC # to The Knob and a description. You can switch between these 4 patches by clicking the Patch green buttons (and I'd recommend you to midi map them). The Knob is a knob (duh) that you can use to different parameters according to the patch you're in (hence you can set a different CC# in each patch). You should also midi map The Knob. After you've set the 4 patches you can jump between pre-determined programs and have The Knob control something different in each one of the 4 programs. This is specially cool when you use it with an analog synth like the Moog Slim Phatty that receives program changes and CC, so you can jump to program #10 and set The Knob to control CC#19 which is the Cutoff for the filter. As I said, this device will be part of a pack that I'm currently working on. Even tho this one will always be free, the pack will be paid (but it'll be cheap, promisse). Let me know what you guys think! Spektro Audio http://spektroaudio.com/ --------- Changelog: Update 1.03: - Fixed some bugs when using multiples instances of the device. - Cleaned up the code so it's easier to understand and debug. Nice device, but for some reason not able to midi map the green patch buttons - any ideas why?

That is because the "parameter visibility" of the live.text objects (green patch buttons) are set in "store only" instead of "automated and stored". You can entered the patch and change this in the inspector of each live.text. After this you will be able to midi map them.

kevinkripper is correct however I've just fixed it to make it easy for you guys :)
I've also changed a couple of details so automation works better.
