Hi @encoderaudio
If the binary combinations are then summed in the number box to the left of the grid, could the grid then be populated based on the value of the number in the number box?

I ask this because
a) I don't like clicking on things in a GUI in a performance setting. A number field is something I can assign to a control
2) There are not enough preset slots to account for every combination of sequences over 5 lines. Even if there were a way to swap the note output between the lanes, there still wouldn't be enough preset slots to represent every combination

Let me break you 1 grid of Binary, basically all 5 works in the same way :

You have a 16 step sequencer, where the key factors are the triggers and the length of the sequence. The active triggers and the length is determined by the active binaries in the grid.
Examples :

Active binary : 1
Active step : 1
Sequence length : 1

Active binary : 1 and 2
Active steps : 1, 2 and 3 (1 + 2 = 3)
Sequence length : 3

Active binary : 1, 2 and 4
Active steps : 1, 2, 4 and 7 (1 + 2 + 4 = 7)
Sequence length : 7

Active binary : 1, 2, 4 and 8
Active steps : 1, 2, 4, 8 and 15 (1 + 2 + 4 + 8 = 15)
Sequence length : 15

Active binary : all
Active steps : 1, 2, 4, 8 and 16
Sequence length : 16

As you can see, the max length is 16 steps, but, if you unlock the sequence, the 16 steps barrel will disappear, means, the maximum length for the last example 1 + 2 + 4 + 8 + 16 = 31 steps, but, active steps will be only 1, 2, 4, 8 and 16.

Yeah, pretty pretty complicated, I usually hit the random button and enjoy the madness.
